About Us
Trail Works, Inc., a not for profit organization was founded in Wayne County New York in 1997 by a small group of individuals who are dedicated trail users and who are interested in trail develop-ment and expanding trail use.
Trail Works purpose is to provide a unified voice for Wayne County trail users as well as to coordinate the development and maintenance of high-quality, year-round, multi-use trails. Our purpose also embodies public education about trails and public awareness of trail issues.

A Wayne County Gem Ganargua Creek Meadow Preserve...
This 56 acre parcel in Macedon owned by the Genesee Land Trust may be small, but it earns "precious jewel" status with its wealth of habitat and wildlife diversity.

The trail head is on Bunker Hill Rd and starts at the base of the Macedon water tower visible from Wilkinson Rd. It begins with hardwood forest where numerous early wild flowers strive to grow and flower before trees leaf out and block the sunlight reaching the forest floor. Read more >>
Trails
Very important are the relationships Trail Works can and has established with local and county govern-ments. These relat-ionships are vital to moving ahead on any plans for trail develop-ment.
Our input and that of other trail groups is important to the local planning process, and exchange of information and expertise between the various groups is vital to the process of linking trails in Wayne County and with trails in neighboring counties. Read more >>
